Contracts with automatic renewal automatically will extend for another billing period unless they are cancelled. Accounts without automatic renewal will end after the first billing period and do not require cancellation.

There are 3 ways you can submit your cancellation:
Option 1: Cancellation through the Shellfire User Portal
You can easily cancel your VPN subscription directly through our user portal. Follow these steps:
- Log In: Sign in to your account on shellfire.net using your e-mail and password.
- Access Subscription Settings: Navigate to your account dashboard and click Accounting -> Subscriptions. Locate the subscription you want to cancel and click "Details".
- Use the Auto-renewal slider to de-activate automatic renewal
- Confirm Cancellation: Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your cancellation.
Option 2: Cancellation using our contact form
If you prefer a personal message and maybe want to leave some comments or ask a question, this is the way to go:
- Log In: Sign in to your account on shellfire.net using your e-mail and password.
- Scroll all the way down and click Support / Contact
- Write a quick message telling us the contract number of the contract you wish to cancel. Add your desired cancellation date or just tell us you wish to cancel on the earliest possible cancellation date.
4. Click on Send Message. We will get back to you within 24h.
Note: Please make sure that you log in before sending us your cancellation. We can only process cancellations sent by logged in users.
Option 3: Cancellation via e-mail
The old-school way:
- Compose an Email: Open your email client and create a new message.
- Enter the Support Email: Send your email to support@shellfire.net.
- Include Necessary Details: In your contract number and/or customer id and clearly state that you would like to cancel your VPN subscription. Add your desired cancellation date or just tell us you wish to cancel on the earliest possible cancellation date.
- Send Your Email: Submit the email and wait for our support team to process your cancellation.
- Confirmation: You will receive an email confirming the cancellation of your subscription.
Note: We can only accept cancellation mails coming from the e-mail address that was used to register your Shellfire account. If, for some reason, you do not have access to that e-mail address anymore, please use one of the other cancellation options.
The 21st century is in full swing—let's leave handwritten letters behind! While we do accept written cancellations, these are guaranteed to take more time, cost money, cause more work and are a waste of good paper and CO2.
